The National Art Library at the Victoria & Albert Museum had one of the most beautiful reading rooms I've ever seen. I wanted to live there. Though, I've wanted to live in almost every library I've ever been in, so maybe that isn't testament enough to how gorgeous it was.
This library was really neat because it had a space for researchers, but beyond this there were exhibits for the public. I found their periodical section really neat. They organized them by size instead of by title which I thought was a great idea for preserving shelf space, but I imagine they're a bit difficult to locate, but I'm probably just used to the alphabetical system we use at my special collections at home.
