National Maritime Museum / Caird Library and Archive

Kayla Noll

I'm fairly certain that this library is one of the newest ones we visited in our time in the UK. The library itself is not necessarily new, but they recently moved to a new location within the National Maritime Museum and the space seemed to be much more functional than their former location. Our guide mentioned that the old space had a much older and historic feel versus their new sleek and modernly styled space.

Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to take too many photos of the space we were in, but I have some photos of the items we got to see. One of the most notable items we got to see was the application of examination from the captain of the Titanic . Our guide informed us that he had failed his navigational test...which makes sense.
